Repsol Honda Team starts 2020 challenge in Indonesia

Marc Marquez and rookie Alex Marquez unveiled the 2020 Honda RC213V MotoGP machine paint scheme ahead of the first official test of the year in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Marc and Alex helped launch the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports and Honda Rebel in Indonesia and were given a warm welcome in the heart of the Indonesian capital. The two world champions were joined by Toshiyuki Inuma, President Director PT Astra Honda Motor, Tetsuhiro Kuwata, HRC Director – General Manager Race Operations, and Alberto Puig, Repsol Honda Team Manager.

After the Repsol Honda Team has achieved the 25th record manufacturer title as part of its third Triple Crown in a row at the highest level of motorcycle racing, it is aiming for another strong year and welcomes Moto2 World Champion Alex Marquez to the team. With 309 victories in the premier class, Honda has established itself as the dominant force in Grand Prix racing and has worked intensively in the winter to ensure that this trend continues in 2020.

Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez will now begin their final preparations for the Sepang test (February 7th to 9th), when the RC213V will debut the livery on the track for the first time in 2020. Finally, the 2020 MotoGP ™ season begins under the spotlight in Qatar (March 6-8).
