The Repsol Honda Team strives to maximize results in consecutive races

Both sides of the Repsol Honda team’s garage are thrilled with the prospect of two races to continue the pace shown at Misano.

Motorland Aragon was added to the MotoGP World Championship calendar in 2010 and has become a fan and rider favorite over the years with a number of memorable races. The track presents a number of challenges for the team and some key points for the drivers. Turn two is always a critical point, the right side of the tire cools down after the long straight and last corners. In 2018, Turn 10 on the Aragon circuit was named after the reigning champion Marc Marquez.

Marc Marquez is ready for any challenge when he scores a fifth victory in the premier class on one of his favorite tracks on the calendar. The number 93 goes into the 14th round with a lead of 93 points over the next title rival Andrea Dovizioso, but is still fully focused on a fourth win in a row over his home fans. With the Gran Premio Michelin® de Aragon, Marc Marquez will conquer another milestone in his career, as the reigning world champion is set to start his 200th Grand Prix.

A promising start to the San Marino GP has made Jorge Lorenzo confident that there will be further improvements in Spain. Lorenzo and his Repsol Honda team will experience less physical discomfort after the race and are eager to get back on track to further reduce the distance up front. With two wins in the premier class and seven podiums on the Aragon circuit, Lorenzo has achieved significant successes in the past.

The MotoGP race on Sunday will take place at 1:00 p.m. local time, an hour earlier than originally planned at 2:00 p.m.
