Repsol Honda Team back in action in Brno

After a brief hiatus, the Repsol Honda team returns recharged and ready to attack the second half of 2019.

The Czech GP is always one of the most attended and most visited races of the year and is popular with fans and drivers alike. The 5.4 km long track welcomes the MotoGP World Championship back into action after its short summer break. The Repsol Honda Team is keen to get back on track and keep fighting for victory.

Marc Marquez, who had shown an outstanding performance at the GP in Germany, went into the mid-season break with a generous 58 points in the MotoGP World Championship. Defending this advantage over his title rivals is the main goal of the reigning world champion at the Czech GP. Automotodrom Brno is one of Marquez’s most consistent circuits – only once on the podium since entering the premier class in 2013 and never outside the top 5.

HRC test driver Stefan Bradl will again be in the Repsol Honda Team’s garage with Marc Marquez while Jorge Lorenzo continues his recovery from his crash at Assen. The German driver has had an intense workload since his top ten place at the Sachsenring. In addition to his usual test tasks, he was on the podium at the legendary 8-hour race in Suzuka. Bradl is aiming for another strong weekend and wants to build on what he and the team have achieved in Germany.

Jorge Lorenzo continues to work on his recovery to return to the British GP.
