With a glorious victory at the Grand Prix of Thailand, Marc Marquez won his sixth MotoGP world title, the eighth of his 12-year world championship career.
In one of his most consistent seasons to date, Marquez sealed the 2019 MotoGP World Championship with 325 points and four races remaining. The combination of the Repsol Honda Team RC213V and Marc Marquez has achieved nine wins, 14 podiums and nine pole positions – and only missed the first two steps of the podium once this season.

- Along with Valentino Rossi (7) and Giacomo Agostini (8), Marquez is one of only three drivers who have contested six or more world championships in the premier class.

- With 61 Poles, Marquez holds the absolute pole position record in the premier class
- With nine MotoGP victories, Marquez has won more MotoGP races than any other rider this season. He also has the most podiums (14) and the most poles (nine) in 2019
