Team Ajo is making some changes before the next season. The team will continue to compete in the Moto3 championship with KTM, but only with driver Darryn Binder. The South African will wear the same colors as his brother Brad, who was confirmed in Moto2 together with Oliveira in 2018.
Next year Team Ajo will also make its debut in the CEV, competing again with KTM and with the Öncü twins in the junior championship. Deniz won the Asian Talent Cup that year while brother Can finished third. The two brothers will also compete in the 2018 Rookies Cup.
“In Moto3 we welcome Darryn to our team. He’s been part of the family for a long time, as Brad’s brother and someone who’s spent a lot of time in our garage – comments team manager Aki Ajo – He is a driver who has already proven his quality in the World Championship and we are sure that next year he will be able to take another step forward and regularly fight for the top positions.
To this we are adding our new CEV project – he continues – expanding the Moto2 and Moto3 structure to include the Junior World Championship is a challenge. Only 14 years old Can and Deniz have already demonstrated their innate talent. We all have great confidence in them and hope that they will learn and continue their training as riders with us, which is the main goal. With hard work, the results will surely follow. “
