SBK, Marco Melandri drives a Barnis Ducati V4 in Jerez

At this point we are just waiting for the announcement. Correctly. After separating from Leon Camier, the Barni team decided to start over with Marco Melandri. As we recently expected, it will be the Ravenna’s turn to board the Panigale V4 in Jerez, which is scheduled for August 1st to 2nd.

Many names have been mentioned at Ducati in the past few weeks. Among them were those of Randy Krummenacher and also those of Lorenzo Zanetti and Matteo Ferrari. The Swiss was on pole position, but due to contractual problems with MV Agusta, Barnabò had to choose another, namely Marco Melandri.

The last picture we have of Melandri on the track is from last October during the Qatar lap and we’ll see him again in Jerez in two weeks’ time. Marco will do a preparation test in the next few days and then fly to Spain. Everyone is definitely waiting to see # 33 on a track he finished on the podium last year.
