India Yamaha Motor has announced the launch of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP-inspired edition of the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid. This variant of the scooter was launched in our market at a cost of Rs 81,330 from the showroom (Delhi).
The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition includes a special theme that includes the Yamaha MotoGP branding on the body. This edition uses black as the basic color as well as blue accents on the front apron and the sides. The Monster Energy logo and decals are visible on the front apron. However, the changes are limited to cosmetic upgrades.
Therefore, the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP edition of the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid continues to use a BS6 compliant 125cc single cylinder engine with Hybrid Power Assist and a fuel injection system. The moor is designed for a maximum output of 8 hp at 6,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.3 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
The hardware of the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Monster Energy MotoGP Edition consists of an LED headlight, telescopic fork, single spring at the rear, a disc brake at the front, a drum unit at the rear and a Unified Brake System (UBS). The safety net also includes the kickstand engine shutdown switch, which is standard on all Yamaha two-wheelers in India.
