15:45 – After the findings, the teams will meet at 5 p.m. to decide whether or not to continue track activities on Sunday. In the meantime, many teams have already left the track to return to the hotel. A truly tragic day in Jerez with the racing world mourning the death of Dean Berta Vinales at the age of just 15. 15:10 – At this point it was announced that Dean Berta Vinales had passed away. The Spaniard from the Vinales team died after the fall he suffered during the first race of the SuperSport300. At this moment we cannot help but offer our condolences to all those who love them. We also inform you that the teams will meet at 5pm to decide whether to start on Sunday or not.,
15:00 – According to the findings a few moments ago, the helicopter did not even take off from the Jerez racetrack !. We bring you this news because after Dean Berta’s accident, the Superbike race was postponed and the reason was the lack of a helicopter on the track. Then, in a second moment, the news arrived that all further activities today have been canceled.
14:40 – At the moment there is no communication from Dorna about the incident and the development of Dean Berta’s situation. In the paddock, however, there is considerable dissatisfaction with what happened among some drivers, as the category is not used to such incidents.
14:30 – From what we were able to collect in the Jerez paddock some time ago, it appears that Dean Berta Vinales fell and was hit by some other riders who were on his trajectory. The incident occurred three laps before the end of the race. Maverick Vinales’ father, visibly shaken in the back of the pits, receives hugs from drivers and professionals.
