The Ducati Factory Team ended the 2020 MotoGP season in a disappointing fourth place, while Andrea Dovizioso also finished fourth in the drivers’ standings. Despite the many problems of 2020, Ducati reloaded for the 2021 season and signed the rising stars Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia and Jack Miller to the factory squad. Again this year, the Bologna brand is revitalizing the fan base by fighting for both driver and team titles.

At the beginning of the season, Australian Jack Miller won consecutive races at the Spanish and French Grand Prix. With the end of the championship, however, the Italian Pecco Bagnaia found his shape again and completed his own series of victories in a row at the rounds in Aragon and Misano. These recent wins position Pecco 48 points behind leaders Fabio Quartararo and Ducatisti is hoping to close the gap in the four remaining races.
