Andrea Dovizioso made his debut as a full-time rider in MotoGP this weekend with Petronas and, after first experiences with the M1, highlighted the work of Fabio Quartararo.
The veteran spoke about the difficulties of the M1 and in this sense underlined the work of the current world champion: “I think it is normal for those who drive this M1 to have difficulties and I do not know what exactly is the difference between This bike and the factory bike. Besides, only Fabio does something crazy and that is far from me to understand and analyze. This bike is very special, it has many good things, but it has to be ridden in a special way and I need time to adjust myself.
His understanding of the bike grew especially during the race, although he already can’t understand some things: ‘I still have the question I had about the rear wheel before this weekend, because that’s how you brake a lot strange, and the way the bike improved a lot in the last part of the race is a bit strange and that’s why it’s important to analyze and understand if it was more up to me, the bike, what was going on in the race for me it has changed everything is new. I have a lot of feedback, but I don’t know why so many things happened.
His conclusion: “In the race, I often felt good and recognized the good side of the motorcycle and couldn’t fully exploit its potential. After 10 months without a race I did it, a consistent race and I’m happy and it was the best preparation for the tests.
