2020 Suzuki Ecstar GSX-RR MotoGP
2020 marks Suzuki’s 60th year in racing, a milestone celebrated with the team’s all-new color scheme.
The elegant combination of the familiar blue mixed with a more traditional slate silver is sure to set the ambitious duo of Alex Rins and Joan Mir apart from the crowd.
This season’s GSX-RR honors the rich racing pedigree that Suzuki began in 1960 with its participation in the Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man – where Ernst Degner won Suzuki’s first GP race and also their first world title just two years later the 50cc category.
Since then, Suzuki has enjoyed a long track record as a manufacturer, including 14 more world titles, most recently in 2019 with Álex Rins at the Grand Prix of The Americas and the British GP.
The goal of taming the beast is Suzuki’s industrious and formidable duo of Rins and Mir.
With a 4th place in last year’s championship standings, two outstanding wins and eleven top five finishes, Álex Rins proved his place among the top riders in MotoGP.
Joan Mir completed a remarkable rookie season with Suzuki in 2019, which included a total of ten top 10 finishes, with a fifth place at the Australian GP being his best result.
