The Ducati rider is categorical

Ducati rider Pecco Bagnaia spoke at the press conference ahead of the Motegi Grand Prix.

The centaur wanted to clarify the matter relating to the team orders: “I don’t need help to stay in front, I prefer to win on the track, rather than win because someone makes me pass. However, it is a decision that is not up to me, I explained what is my desire, that is to do what I know how to do. After that, if they decide otherwise, it is not up to me. I will try to go fast, to stay ahead and win: this is my goal “

“I’m not thinking too much about the World Championship, because five races are a lot and everything can still change. I’m just trying to do my job well,” continued Bagnaia.

Finally, the rider of the Borgo Panigale house had his say on the Japanese circuit of Motegi: “The Ducati is the bike to beat, it is the most complete bike. Motegi is fine for us, but we remember that in Austria we saw that someone he could be faster than us. I’m very happy to be at Motegi, it’s one of my favorite tracks because of the way it’s built. Today the conditions are completely different than in 2019, then I was a rookie. The track suits Ducati well, I believe we can be competitive”.
