‘In MotoGP many riders win with Ducati, here it’s only me winning…’ – Alvaro Bautista

Ducati is in the mouths of the competitive world on two wheels due to the dominance exercised in MotoGP, where the Desmosedici is so competitive that several riders have won with the Italian machine.

But in the Superbike world there is no great dominance of Italian motorcycles. Alvaro Bautista leads the championship, yes, but the second best Ducati rider in the WSBK is his teammate, Michael Ruben Rinaldi, ranked fourth but with a difference of more than 200 points to the spaniard.

‘It’s been a long time since I’ve tested a Ducati MotoGP. On television it looks like it’s an easier bike to ride than it was years ago and there a lot of riders win in Desmosedici, but here I’m the only one who wins… The bike is good, but in Superbikes only one wins , that’s the reality. Everyone says it’s thanks to Ducati, but the results of the two Kawasaki riders are much more similar to each other. You have to see everything and not just the rider who wins’, the Spaniard told quoted in TodoCircuito.

In MotoGP three Ducati riders have won this year: Enea Bastianini, Jack Miller and Pecco Bagnaia, while in WSBK Bautista is the only one to take the Panigale to the top of the podium.
