Yamaha Motor India has hiked prices of the popular R15.
Yamaha Motor India has made its popular YZF-R15 V4 motorcycle costlier to purchase in the country. This is the fourth price hike announcement on the entry-level sport bike since April this year. Previously, the motorcycle had also received a price hike in October and August 2022. With the latest price revision, the bike has become costlier by Rs 500. Save for the price increase, no other change has been done to the motorcycle.

- Yamaha R15M: Rs 1,91,800
- Yamaha R15 MotoGP Edition: Rs 192,400
- Yamaha R15 Racing Blue: Rs 1,84,400
- Yamaha R15 Black: Rs 1,80,400
- Yamaha R15 Red: Rs 1,79,400
- Yamaha R15 Silver: Rs 1,90,400

The Yamaha YZF-R15 V4 is a fairly popular motorcycle in the sports segment. Originally launched over a decade back, the motorcycle has received several generation updates which brought along a new design, looks, technology, and powertrain improvements. Currently, it is offered with features such as LED illumination, a fully digital display, ABS, traction control, and a quick-shifter as well.
At the heart of the motorcycle sits a tested 155 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine fitted with VVA technology. In terms of equipment, it uses golden USD front forks and a mono-shock setup, while the braking duties are taken care of by a single front and rear disc.
