Riding for Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing, he finished ahead of Justin Cooper, who placed second overall with moto scores of 3–2, and Hunter Lawrence, who took third with scores of 2–4. The event was held Sunday at Washougal MX Park in Washougal, Washington, a well-established round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship featuring separate 450 and 250 Class competitions.
Deegan finished second in Moto 1 and first in Moto 2, recording moto scores of 2–1 and accumulating 47 points, the same as Tom Vialle, who posted scores of 1–2.
In the 450 Class at the same 2023 Washougal National, Jett Lawrence secured a perfect 1–1 sweep to claim the overall win, riding a Honda CRF450R for Honda HRC. According to official results, Lawrence’s performance underscored his dominance in the premier class that season. In the 2025 450 Class at Washougal, Jett Lawrence did not secure the overall win. Official results listed Chase Sexton as the winner, marking his fourth Washougal 450 victory in five years. Lawrence, riding a Honda CRF450R, won at least one moto with a recorded time of 16:48.267 and a best lap of 2:10.869 but finished behind Sexton overall. Hunter Lawrence competed in the 450 Class as well, finishing fourth overall with moto scores of 5–4 on a Honda CRF450R Works Edition, according to official results.
