Santi Hernandez and Ramon Aurin preview 2021

The MotoGP World Championship was moments away from returning under the floodlights of Qatar. The Repsol Honda team’s race engineers, Santi Hernandez and Ramon Aurin, sat down to reflect on 2020 and get a preview of the events to come.

Santi Hernandez will continue to work with Stefan Bradl during the Qatar test. This combination is keen to keep the shape they found in late 2020. While Marc Marquez is still recovering, Hernandez and his team will work with Bradl to understand the pre-season upgrades for 2021 to the Honda RC213V.

Ramon Aurin’s side of the Repsol Honda Team Box is keen to get new signing Pol Espargaro up to date as quickly as possible, with limited testing time before the inaugural race. Making the number 44 comfortable on the Honda will be the first task before working on improving his feel and speed on the bike.
