However, work continues in the Suzuki racing department as the GSX-RR is still lacking top speed and Rins has pointed this out. In addition, another important change is expected in Losail.
“You’re working on a device for the start. If it’s not ready for testing, it will surely be in time for the race. Did I try a version of this in the Jerez tests last year? Maybe – laughs Alex – you always have to be innovative because rivals always invent something, like the rear of the Ducati, that slows down the acceleration. “
Joan Mir: “We can do great things this year”
Rins’ optimism is also shared by his teammate, Mir. Joan bet the 10th time, but the gap to Quartararo is less than four tenths. Today he used the old chassis and ran a racing simulation that was interrupted after 12 laps due to a fall.
