What kind of Marquez will be returning to MotoGP?

The Spaniard has been out of action since his abandoned comeback attempt in the second round of the 2020 season in Jerez, just days after an arm injury he broke at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Another two operations later, Marquez’s arm finally shows signs of healing. Marquez is attending Honda’s 2021 launch event earlier this week.

He confirmed that he will no longer pass the Qatar test but has his sights set on getting back on his bike as soon as possible – provided his doctors give him permission.

At Honda’s start, Marquez spoke about his recovery and what he had learned from the experience.

On the latest Tank Slappers podcast, Autosport’s Lewis Duncan and Motorsport.com’s Oriol Puigdemont discuss what kind of Marquez we could expect when he finally returns in 2021.

You will also remember double 125cc world champion and seasoned MotoGP team principal Fausto Gresini, who tragically lost his fight against COVID-19 this week.
