Repsol Honda Team back again for the Teruel GP

With another podium place, Alex Marquez is coming back to Aragon with clear intentions together with Stefan Bradl for the third race in three weeks.

For the fourth time in 2020, the MotoGP World Championship returns to the same track for consecutive races. Forecasts predict warmer conditions for the Teruel GP, and with a week of data already collected, times should drop.

Alex Marquez returns to the scene of his strongest weekend in the premier class to date. He finished in the top ten throughout practice, achieved his best starting position and fought for a debut win. For the MotoGP rookie, who now occupies 12th place in the overall standings with 67 points, the dynamics of a number of strong races have increased further. In addition to Brad Binder, Alex is also the joint leader of the Rookie of the Year championship. The battle for the honors of the debutants is expected to rage until the end of the year.

The Teruel GP is Stefan Bradl’s eighth race with the Repsol Honda Team. So far, the HRC test driver has achieved the best result of eighth place at the French GP. He has been working on changes to the geometry of the RC213V and believes a breakthrough is near.

The MotoGP race on Sunday starts after the Moto3 race at 1:00 p.m. local time. Like the Aragon GP, it will be held over 23 laps. The weekend also gives Honda the opportunity to claim a record-breaking 800th Grand Prix victory in Moto3 or MotoGP races.
