Alex Rins will wear a special pink helmet at his home race at Motorland Aragon this weekend to draw attention to breast cancer. Not only does he wear the colors all weekend, but he encourages fans to post on social media using #PinkRacing to show their support for the cause.

He will pair the helmet with special pink gloves and boots before donating all three to charity to be auctioned off after the weekend to raise money for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).

The race is the first home race Rins will compete in after missing Jerez and Barcelona due to injury. However, the local driver, who lives just minutes from the Aragon circuit, is confident that it can be a strong weekend for him.

“We are going to Aragon in what I think is a good moment. Since the beginning of the season we have been able to understand the GSX-RR and the MotoGP class better with calm and consistency. Little by little we are.” I manage to get stronger and I hope that we will continue to grow in Aragon. This will be the very first GP I can race in Spain because I dropped out because of an injury in Jerez and Barcelona. Further excitement and inspiration. ”
