Reigning double MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner became a father for the first time on Thursday when Mrs Adriana gave birth to a baby girl.
“We are very pleased to announce that Alessandra Stoner was born on February 16, 2012 at 9:55 pm with a weight of 2.8 kg. Mother and baby are doing well!” said a message on the official HRC MotoGP Twitter account.

February 16 is also Valentino Rossi’s birthday – the seven-time MotoGP champion celebrates his 33rd birthday on Thursday.
Stoner and Rossi will be back on track for the second official 2012 MotoGP test starting in Sepang on February 28th.
