LCR reveals livery for Takaaki Nakagami’s 2021 MotoGP bike

Nakagami will once again wear the colors of the oil company Idemitsu for his fourth season in the premier class after making his debut with the Honda satellite team in 2018.

The Japanese driver had his best campaign so far in 2020, taking pole position at the Teruel GP and coming close to the first podium several times.

The 29-year-old will have a new teammate in 2021 in the form of Alex Marquez, who has been removed from the Repsol Honda factory team to make way for new signing Pol Espargaro.

Marquez, who was the top scorer in the absence of older brother Marc Hondas last year, has replaced Cal Crutchlow on the team. The British rider has retired from active competition to take on the role of Yamaha’s test rider.

LCR revealed the paint job for Marquez’s new bike on Friday.
