The Repsol Honda Team completes a positive and productive Misano test

The Repsol Honda Team is leaving the Misano Circuit satisfied with what has been achieved and, after careful work in Italy, is ready for the end of 2019 and beyond.

MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez drove a total of 168 laps on board his Repsol Honda Team RC213V on the two days of the race on the Italian circuit. In this test, Marquez and his team of engineers not only worked for the Misano race, but also evaluated and evaluated options for the future. With a 1’32.905, Marquez finished the test as the tenth fastest driver of the combined times.

Jorge Lorenzo’s test was canceled after experiencing pain while running on his bike Thursday morning. Lorenzo and the team decided to limit his testing to give Lorenzo the maximum possible time to recover physically before the Misano race on September 15th. Before finishing his test, Lorenzo was able to complete 31 laps as he judged the Honda RC213V for the 4.2 km Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli test.

The action will resume on September 13th in Misano when the San Marino GP kicks off. Both Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo are confident that their test results will allow them to be competitive from the first RP on Friday morning.
