‘The goal is to become world champion; It’s my childhood dream ‘- Fabio Quartararo

Fabio Quartararo has gone on vacation as the leader of the MotoGP World Championship. After nine laps, the Frenchman has 156 points and another 34 points separate him from Fabio Quartararo. In an interview with Automoto, the Yamaha rider spoke about this season and how he approaches it from a different perspective.

“At the moment I’m approaching this championship differently. I think more about the next race, about a goal for the next race, because last year I had a little pressure from the lead, I had to stay in the lead. But the most important thing now is whether I’ll be second or third at the end of the championship and we’ll be first in the last two races. That’s enough. The most important thing is to be first at the end of the championship, but I think the most important thing is to say, “Here is the next race. What do I want to do? ‘ he said.

In the same interview, the rider also guaranteed and made it clear what his goal in MotoGP is. Quartararo is not at the forefront of two wheels to make friends, he is there to be champion and in this sense to fulfill a dream that has existed since childhood:

  • The goal is to become world champion, that’s my childhood dream and that’s why I’m here. I’m here to win and fight for the championship, but of course the goal is to become world champion.
