MotoGP, Silverstone: track boundary at Turn 6 adjusted

Turn 6 was everything the riders talked about yesterday, or at least the ones who canceled their times due to the track limit (like Quartarato, Rossi and Nakagami, who then restored their time thanks to slow-motion recordings).

“At this point the white line narrows too much. It is easy to land on the green asphalt,” complained Fabio and Valentino and promised to take the case to the security commission that was scheduled last night.

The driver’s complaints were accepted and the problem was solved thanks to a simple can of paint.

The problem was the lane boundary, which narrowed too abruptly from the curve. It has been adjusted to give drivers more space to return to the trackwithout touching the green asphalt with the wheels, which would mean canceling the times.

The change was already tested during FP3.
