MotoGP, test team riders ready to hit the track on the KymiRing

Test teams are soon preparing for a two-day test on the newly built KymiRing in Finland. Every manufacturer of the premier class will be represented when they get a first taste of the venue on August 19th and 20th. Track time will be from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, with a final slot from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. where some local heroes will also have the opportunity to do a few laps.

Six riders will represent the MotoGP manufacturers. Moto2 ™ World Champion 2010 2010 Stefan Bradl is in testing for Honda, with always impressive wildcard performers Michele Pirro take over the reins at Ducati. Former WorldSBK Champion Sylvain Guintoli represents Suzuki, with a podium finish in the premier class and youngest Moto2 ™ runner Jonas Folger do the laps for Yamaha.

KTM is now the local hero Mika Kallio when he gets a foretaste of his new home track with the top-class line-up vonup Bradley Smith Testing for Aprilia, fresh from making a little history as a podium finish in the opening race for the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup means He’s now got podiums in every single class he’s ridden, from the 125cc World Championship to Moto2, MotoGP and now MotoE.

During the daily one-hour break for the test teams, local drivers have the opportunity to take over the track and do a few laps – they welcome it as an important new motorsport location in the region. The becomes FIM Enel MotoE World Cup history maker Niki Tuuli, the first MotoE championship leader and race winner as he prepares to experience the breathtaking new circuit by your side.

It’s only a month left before MotoGP makes its debut on the track on the stunning KymiRing.
