Brad became interested in motorsport from a young age and his parents enabled him to achieve his dream. He started his karting career at the age of eight. In 2005 he switched to two wheels and took part in competitions where he won in the 50cc, 125cc and 150cc categories. In 2008 he took part in his first international competition during the Aprilia Superteens Series, where he finished second.

In 2009 he took part in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and finished 14th. In 2010 he took 5th and 2011 7th place.

125cc / Moto3 World Championship

Binder made his debut in the 125cc Grand Prix career in 2011. He rode an Aprilia during the RW Racing GP and his best position of the season was 17th.

In 2012, he switched to the Kalex KTM during the Portuguese Motorcycle Grand Prix, despite crashing seven times. He scored four goals during the competition and his best was fourth.

In 2013 he switched to a Suter Honda and later to a Mahindra. 2013 was his first most consistent year, and of the eighteen competitions he scored in fourteen. His best result was fourth, overall he was 13th. In 2014 he got better and moved up to 11th place.

In 2015 he switched teams to KTM Ajo Motorsport and, interestingly, his first year on the new machine was impressive. At the end of the competition he finished sixth. In 2016 he had seven victories and secured a chance at the world championship.

In 2017 Brad completed the Moto2 class, still on his Red Bull KTM Ajo machine. In the first season he was 8th despite an injury and missed a few laps. However, in 2018 he got better and finished third with three wins.

In 2019, Brad secured second place, just three points behind Alex Marquez, the champion.

MotoGP World Championship

In 2020 he joined the Red Bull KTM Factory Team, Brad Binder’s current team. He set the record by winning his first MotoGP race on lap three. Brad Binder MotoGP victory was also the first race win for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team in the premier class.
