Jack Miller and the Assen Round: “It was one of those days when I felt like I was giving more”

Jack Miller had a race at Assen that could have ended with a different outcome. The Australian crashed once and returned to the race, eventually withdrawing from the race at the request of the race management because he believed the # 43 motorcycle was leaking oil on the track.

When asked about the race conditions, Miller confirmed that there was some wind and this made his bike difficult to perform, namely at Turn 12.

“It was a bit windy, especially in Turn 12. Pecco” [Bagnaia] had problems and so did I. It wasn’t easy, especially when the tires started losing grip […]. In the last two corners I was able to make up for what I had lost, but… It was one of those days when I felt like I was giving more, but it is what it is, ”he said after Motorcycle Sports in a debriefing the race.
