Domino’s Partners with Revolt Motors to Convert Gasoline Bicycle Fleet to Electric Vehicles, Auto News, ET Auto

Domino’s Pizza has partnered with Rattan-backed EV maker Revolt Motors to convert its current gasoline bike fleet into e-bikes.

As part of the partnership, Domino’s will source all of Revolt’s existing inventory of RV300 bike model and gradually acquire its bespoke Revolt model to convert its fleet, the company said in a statement on Sunday.

Dominos has been piloting Revolt bikes for its deliveries for some time, and with a successful pilot it has now teamed up with Revolt for its green boost, it added.

Anjali Rattan, Business Chairman of RattanIndia Enterprises, said, “Revolt is excited to partner with Domino’s in this partnership that is not only environmentally sound but also offers great cost savings for the company.”

These bikes will be specially customized for Jubilant Foodworks, which operates the fast food chain Domino’s Pizza, to meet its business needs while delivering a zero-emission delivery experience, Revolt Motors said.

Jubilant operates one of the largest delivery fleets in the country and this partnership shows that it is also ready to drive a shift towards cleaner, greener delivery alternatives, it said.

Revolt believes this partnership is just the beginning of a possible revolution to transform the massive delivery bike market into electric in the coming years, the company added.

Revolt Motors welcomes the Rajasthan EV Policy 2021, which gives electric two-wheeler customers incentives based on the vehicle’s battery capacity.
