Ducati MotoGP rider Miller is undergoing arm surgery

Miller finished the second run of the 2021 season in ninth place last weekend after suffering from arm pumps in the final stages of the race.

He admitted after the race that he was evaluating an operation on his arm, with Ducati confirming that Miller had gone under the knife in Barcelona at Dexeus University Hospital, with the operation being performed by famous MotoGP surgeon Dr. Xavier Mir and his team.

Miller’s surgery has been deemed successful and he will spend the next 24 hours in the hospital before starting rehabilitation.

“It was a short operation that went very well,” said Miller. “I can’t wait to start rehabilitation. There are still ten days until the next Grand Prix in Portimao.

“If my recovery goes normally, I can be back on track in Portugal, even if not quite at my 100 percent fitness. I want to Dr. I would like to thank me and his entire team at Dexeus Hospital for their availability and all the care they have given me. “

Miller finished ninth in the MotoGP standings after two ninth places in the first races in Qatar, while his Ducati colleague Johann Zarco on the GP21 run by Pramac has a four-point lead in the championship after consecutive seconds.
