MotoGP, Leading MotoGP Riders To Win the World Championship

The MotoGP season is in full swing, as seven Grand Prix have already been held this season. Betting on the sport is popular throughout the season, since the prices for the leading drivers change regularly based on the latest results. However, players looking to add extra value to their selections can take advantage of welcome bonuses before placing a bet on the overall winner of the World Cup.

One of the best out there is the 1xBet bonus which gives new customers free money to play with when they place bets on MotoGP. But which drivers could have the best chances for the world title this season?

Fabio Quartararo

The driver who is currently comfortably at the top of all the leading sports betting is Fabio Quartararo. The Frenchman made a wonderful start to the season and has already built up a clear lead at the top of the table. Quartararo currently has 34 points ahead of second in the table, and that was achieved through win four of the nine races held so far this season. His first win of the campaign came at the Doha Grand Prix before adding a quick second win a few weeks later at the Portuguese Grand Prix.

He had to wait a while to get his third win, but it also came at the Italian Grand Prix. The fourth came in Assen. His qualifying record is outstanding this season and it’s a bit surprising that he hasn’t won more races. He started from pole position in five of the nine races, drove the fastest laps in both the Spanish Grand Prix and the French Grand Prix, but was beaten both times by Jack Miller.

Francesco Bagnaia

Francesco Bagnaia won the Moto2 world title in 2018, and is also prominent in betting to win the World Cup this season. The 24-year-old has not yet won a Grand Prix this season, but he stood on the podium three times. This is his best return to date in MotoGP, while qualifying for the Qatar Grand Prix for the first time this season.

He is currently 3rd in the overall standings, as he has made it into the top ten in all but one of his starts in this campaign. The only race he didn’t finish in the top ten was the Italian Grand Prix when he had to retire. Most recently he was 6th at the Dutch Grand Prix.

Jack Miller

Jack Miller is also enjoying his best MotoGP season ever since he has taken two wins in seven starts so far. This is his seventh season at this level and he had only won one Grand Prix prior to the start of the season. His victories this season came from the Spanish Grand Prix and the French Grand Prix, which puts him in 5th place overall.

Like Bagnaia, he ended up in the top ten in all but one of his starts because he had to retire at the Portuguese Grand Prix. He finished third at the Catalan Grand Prix, which was his third podium of the season so far.
