The Finnish Grand Prix scheduled for July 11th, the first on the KymiRing, should go off without any problems. The Finnish government held a press conference this morning to illustrate the new restrictions to fight the Covid epidemic and has decided to ease its grip. This means that in May the borders will be reopened for citizens of the European Union for professional reasons. In addition, according to the schedule, outdoor sporting events can take place without a safe distance from June, which could mean that the general public will be present at the Grand Prix. However, one has to wait until May for the government to communicate its strategy for the coming months.

It is indeed worth noting that tThe Rally Finland, which traditionally takes place in summer, has been postponed to autumn, to a date to be set between the end of September and the beginning of October.
