“In the dry I felt good and could be strong, even if Pecco had a little more than me. The interesting thing is that today’s race was like a déjà vu. I fought with Bagnaia, but Dovizioso seemed to be sitting on this Ducati. Unfortunately I crashed, but maybe I could have made the podium and that would have been a great result on a weekend full of pitfalls like this one. But I want to start again with the sensations that I had in the dry because I was competitive and that pays off for the great dedication of the team over the entire weekend. F.or I, because I fought with the best in the front, counts more than the fall I suffered in the wet. Yesterday after qualifying I had excellent sensations and these were confirmed in the race today.

“When you get a good result, your morale is always high. It’s a bit like a soccer player unlocking himself and scoring the goal he is hoping for. After that, it takes very little to score points. As I said earlier I made a mistake today because I hit the ground, but I want to start all over again by being competitive as I pushed from the start and managed to stay consistent.
