After Loris Baz missed two races due to a foot fracture (and subsequent surgery) in Mugello, he is ready to get back on his Ducati at the Sachsenring. The Frenchman has tried to make the best possible recovery from the injury and while still in pain he should be able to ride without too much trouble.
“I’m really looking forward to coming back after my injury – says the Avintia driver – My foot is much better now, it is not 100% and it still hurts, but I can’t wait to get back on my bike. My goal for this weekend is to get the feeling back and then try to do the best race possible. I don’t want to take any chances this weekend, my goal will be to just ride my bike and get back up to speed. “
After the German round, Baz and his team will stop at the Red Bull Ring.
“We will do a test in Austria after the race and I am sure that these two days will be very helpful for us.”he concludes.
