MotoGP, Jerez turns red: all Ducati riders on the track from February 10th to 11th

2021 is here and Ducati is ready to sharpen its weapons for the new season! The presentation of the official team is planned for February 9th, which will be streamed at 4 p.m. on the occasion. And the very next day they are on the line.

Michele Pirro and the “Rossa” will open the new season on the MotoGP circuit in Jerez. And who knows, maybe they’ll present a new cladding or frame for the occasion. In addition to Pirro, we will also see all the other Ducati riders in Jerez, namely Miller, Bagnaia, Zarco, Martin, Bastianini and Marini, all of whom are in action with the Panigale V4S. The regulation only allows the use of racing bikes.

They have the opportunity to practice until the official test, which is planned on the Losail circuit in March with a view to the start of the World Championship.

Next to Ducati is the Honda HRC test team with Stefan Bradl will probably also take part in the two days in Andalusia. So it will be interesting to see an initial on-track confrontation between the Honda and Ducati test riders while we wait to find out what KTM and Yamaha will do. In fact, there are rumors that the two constructors could also participate, but it’s still up in the air.

This is MotoGP.

Now for the superbike. Aruba and the independent Ducati teams namely Barni and Go Eleven plan to take advantage of February 10-11 to make up for the two days they lost last week due to adverse weather conditions. The same goes for Kawasaki and Honda: they are also considering attending the two days with Rea and Lowes, as well as Bautista and Haslam.
