“I’m usually competitive in Aragon” – Cal Crutchlow

This weekend, Cal Crutchlow is likely to have his final appearance for Monster Energy Yamaha in the 2021 MotoGP season. The Aragon GP is still on the calendar for the # 35, who temporarily returned to active service just over a month ago and the has replaced injured Franco Morbidelli.

In a preview statement, the Briton said that he left Silverstone with the feeling that he had done a good job and now wants to continue on a track where he has proven himself competitive over the years:

– I enjoyed the Silverstone GP with the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team. Overall, I felt we did a good job and I’m looking forward to doing more laps aboard the Factory YZR-M1, this time in Aragon. It’s not an easy track, but I’m usually competitive on this track. So it will be nice to drive there and keep improving the work we’ve done so far.
