Pecco Bagnaia led the warm up in Aragon

Francesco Bagnaia keeps a strong and intense pace in Aragon and after securing pole position in record time yesterday, the Ducati rider made himself felt again this time by leading the warm up session.

The warm up session started with a slight delay after some fog was felt in Aragon. When it started to fade, the drivers hit the track to ring in another race Sunday in the main class.

When the track was clear, the riders started to hit the track and after the first few rounds of attack the name that stood out the most was Takaaki Nakagami and “big” advantage. LCR’s Japanese led more than half a second ahead of the most direct opponents, Joan Mir, Jack Miller and Aleix Espargaró.

Marc Marquez had not yet driven a lap.

Six minutes before the end of the session, the # 93 took to the track, while another rider with the RC213V led the session, Nakagami, with a lap of 1: 48.084 seconds, 0.248 seconds faster than Mir’s best time.

Pole position owner Francesco Bagnaia accelerated the pace and drove the best lap so far, in a phase in which Oliveira had already climbed two positions, in 18th place.

The session would end shortly afterwards, Bagnaia confirmed the lead in the warm up.
