Germany left a bitter aftertaste in the ranks of Petronas Yamaha, so it is better to turn the page and start over as soon as possible. In anticipation of the summer holidays, the race in Assen is next on the list for the MotoGP field. Valentino Rossi knows this track so well that his last win was in the TT.

On the other side of the garage, Franco Morbidelli is in the spotlight. It was a disappointing first half of the season for the Italian-Brazilian from Rome, who had to deal with a Yamaha that limited his potential a bit:
“I am confident that I will go to Assen as it is a very flowing route, much more so than the Sachsenring.” – said Franco – It’s another historic circuit, like Mugello, and a circuit that is great to drive. It’s tricky with changing direction at high speed, but it’s also a lot of fun. “
