With the American GP coming to an end and three more rounds to be played, the battle between the MotoGP rookies is still uncertain.
At the top of the table is Jorge Martin. The Pramac Racing driver got Austin ten points ahead of Enea Bastianini and that Sunday the two rookie drivers finished fifth and sixth. Now that the Spaniard is ahead, the gap between the two is now 11 points, with Martín holding a total of 82 points in his name.
Luca Marini is third best on these accounts. Valentino Rossi’s half-brother got two points at this American GP, the result of 14th place, and is the holder of 30 points in this year’s championship. Lorenzo Savadori remains and will remain bottom of the table after the Italian was replaced by Maverick Viñales at Aprilia.
