Misano is hosting this weekend, which follows the penultimate round of the championship, now in slightly different weather conditions than the Grand Prix, which took place about a month ago. For Joan Mir, the feeling of going back to a track he recently raced on and where it was possible to add two podiums in 2020 is strange.
With this in mind, the Spaniard assured in an official statement that he would like to return to the competition in the following days, thus showing his conviction that it is possible to present a good performance on the track:
– It’s weird to get back on a track so soon after driving, but it’s also very nice that we are going back to the Misano World Circuit because it’s a place I like. During my campaign last year, I got two podiums at this track and I would really love to get back on the pits this weekend because I think the atmosphere will be amazing. I feel like we can do well so I’m ready to start.
