Work on the Mandalika racetrack in Indonesia continues. The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA), the official organizer of the MotoGP race for the Indonesian Grand Prix, is accelerating construction work on the Mandalika Highway Circuit. On his Instagram account, MGPA reported that The development work on the new route has reached 42.98%. At the moment, the expansion of the residential street is in progress.
“The work on tunnel bodies 1 and 2 is 100 percent complete. Now the construction of the retaining walls for each tunnel continues – explains MGPA, as reported by Bola.com – We are also working on a drainage system. This system is not made without care. The model has received a license from the FIM and such a drainage system is also used in other circuits. We even brought supervision from Germany to work on it. “
The MGPA is currently Race Against Time to complete the work of the Mandalika Circuit; In fact, Dorna has not set a date for the Indonesian GP and has included it in the reserves of the 2021 championship along with Portimao and Igora (Russia).
