“That was the best and worst year of my life” – Jorge Martín

In his debut year in MotoGP, Jorge Martín had mixed and extreme feelings as he switched from good to bad, calling it the “best and worst year of my life”.

“I think this was the best and worst year of my life. I think it was the year I lived and learned more in my whole life. Thanks to the bike, I am living a dream and it gives me everything. The first season was a success because I had a good balance with the bike and had a good feeling from the start and I thought it would be harder for me to get used to Ducati, ”said the Pramac-Spaniard, who later declared:

– In the past, other rookies have had a lot of difficulties, but the bike has helped me because my style fits and I don’t have to change a lot and can therefore be competitive.

In addition to the podium in Qatar, Martín also has a very special preference for his first victory in the class, which he wants to immortalize: “I keep the trophy in my living room” [from the victory in Styria], it is very important to me and I also prepare a tattoo because this day is, I think, very important to me and I will always remember it.

Martin is traveling to Portugal this weekend, where he experienced one of the worst moments not only in his career but also in his life.
