The wondrous Alex Marquez is recovering at the Red Bull Ring for the Virtual GP podium

A resurrected Alex Marquez returned to the podium after two falls due to the mistakes of others.

The second #StayAtHomeGP of 2020 turned out to be the most dramatic yet, as the drivers fought frantically over ten laps at the Red Bull Ring. The qualifying between the drivers was close, only a tenth shared the front row. Alex continued his run of form and finished third on the grid, while Marc was just a tenth behind in fourth.

After winning the first race, Alex Marquez looked strong again, but unfortunately was ousted twice by other drivers. Despite two falls, the 23-year-old remained focused and stormed through the field to continue his perfect podium record with a well-deserved third place at the Red Bull Ring.

Marc Marquez proved to be competitive again on his virtual Honda RC213V and finished fourth, his best result in the series to date. The world champion tried to stay out of anger on the first few laps and fought for the podium in the middle of the race. Unfortunately, Marc dropped out of the battle for the top three due to a mistake in the fight with his teammate and scored solid points in fourth.
