Positive start to the first Thai GP for Marquez and Pedrosa on an incredibly tight day of free practice

It was a positive start to the inaugural Thai Grand Prix for the Repsol Honda Team as front runner Marc Marquez finished fourth overall, just 0.098 inches off the top, on a sunny and hot day at the Buriram International Circuit.

In both FP1 and FP2, Marc drove several fast laps as soon as he hit the track and then worked on his racing pace, maintaining a constant, fast pace in both sessions.

Dani Pedrosa also made good progress over the course of the day, finishing eighth overall, less than 3 hundredths of a second behind temporary pole setter Andrea Dovizioso after improving his morning performance by more than a second.
