After Davide Brivio’s departure, the Suzuki Ecstar team had no direct replacement for the role of team manager. This is about to change, with the hiring of a new person – who it is not yet known who could have taken on the role.
Joan Mir, one of the drivers on the Hamamatsu team, assured the GPOne.com website that it must be someone new to Suzuki, able to do a good job and have a trusting relationship with the part of the company Structure that works in Japan:
