MotoGP, FIM Gala: World Champions 2020 & 2021 celebrated in Monaco

The FIM Gala returned in 2021 for a very special edition, attended by champions from 2020 and 2021 after the Covid-19 pandemic required the 2020 edition to be canceled. The gala brought together masters of all disciplines on two wheels and was the focus of the Principality of Monaco on Saturday evening.

2021 FIM MotoGP World Champion Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) and 2020 Champion Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) were two key headliners at the event when they received their medals, celebrates the past two years of incredible MotoGP action and a first premier title for each of them.

There was also the 2021 FIM Moto2 World Champion Remy Gardner (Red Bull KTM Ajo), the 2020 Moto2 Champion Enea Bastianini (Avintia Esponsorama), the 2021 FIM Moto3 World Champion Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo); the rookie history maker and Moto3 ™ champion 2020 Albert Arenas (Aspar Team) – brings together a whole range of champions from the MotoGP ™ paddock.

Among the many others in attendance were WorldSBK sensation Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, who won a stunning first WorldSBK crown in 2021, as well as 2020 and 2021 FIM Moto3 Junior World Champions Daniel Holgado and Izan Guevara. Holgado receives his medal ahead of his full-time debut in Moto3 on the world stage next season, where Guevara has already impressed to be Grand Prix winner this year.
