YOU really saved the best for last! Yamaha R1 GYTR VR46 Tribute was unveiled live at EICMA. The bike has a variety of trackday goodies and a paint job inspired by the nine-time world champion.

After making his debut 26 years ago, Rossi rose to become the most prominent figure in MotoGP history, delivering some of the most intriguing and memorable performances that influenced and inspired an entirely new generation of motorcycle racing stars.
To commemorate its illustrious accomplishments, which included nine world titles in MotoGP, 250cc and 125cc classes, 115 wins and 235 podiums in 425 races, Yamaha built this one-of-a-kind R1 that sports a special paint scheme designed by Aldo Drudi, Rossis Lang -Time helmet designer and friend.

The R1 GYTR VR46 has the upcoming 2022 GYTR specification parts and unique features, all a direct result of Yamaha’s WorldSBK evolution that helped Yamaha achieve the 2021 WorldSBK Triple Crown, which is included in the R1 GYTR with the culminates in the highest specification ever produced for trackday use. A special gift that the legend of Tavullia will soon be able to enjoy on the Misano circuit.
A new carbon fiber fairing kit and a full carbon rear subframe were produced with a tank volume increased to 22 liters, all taking into account the weight savings. The Brembo brakes have been developed for incredible braking power, while the high-performance REX 140 Marelli control unit ensures first-class power delivery.

The R1 GYTR VR46 Tribute was awarded to Valentino Rossi for the One More Lap event at EICMA 2021, which the Italian star first attended, as a tribute to the Yamaha VR46 and its historical legacy.
