Ten days of rest and relaxation, waiting carefree to get back on the track and prepare for the second part of the season. Marc Marquez was enjoying his vacation, recharging his batteries and taking his mind off the bike. After returning to the Portimao track after his injury in Jerez last year, the Spaniard saw three months testing him.
Despite its limits, # 93 tried to push its way forward so far that it was even victorious at the Sachsenring. But it’s a shame for the qualification in Assen, which forced him to start from behind and to have to give up his dream of the podium.
After the TT round, Marc allowed himself the well-deserved rest of a warrior for the last 14 days. But from Monday he will have to put on his helmet and suit, because he will have to prepare for the championship again, on August 8th at the Red Bull Ring. A track on which # 93 was almost successful repeatedly, but couldn’t really conquer it.
