The Mooney VR46 Racing Team has confirmed a three-year deal with Bardahl as the lubricant brand remains a sponsor in both MotoGP and Moto2.
Bardahl, Italian manufacturer and global distributor of lubricants and additives, began its partnership with VR46 in 2020 as part of its Moto2 outfit before extending the agreement to the Italian CIV Championship to nurture the talent of young Italian riders. The Bardahl VR46 Riders Academy team won the national title in its rookie season with Elia Bartolini. The 18-year-old also took part in six substitute rides in Moto3 last year, securing him a full-time ride in the World Championship paddock with the Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 team from 2022.
In the new season, which begins on March 6th at the inaugural race of Qatar, Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi make up the Mooney VR46 Racing Team in the premier class on Ducati Desmosedici GP bikes, while Celestino Vietti and Niccolò Antonelli pair up in Moto2. The Bardahl logo will be featured on all four bikes, rider leathers, garage and truck liveries for the three-year deal.

The human relationship and the synergies created with Cosimo [Campolmi] is strong and helped us win the CIV title last year. The Mooney VR46 Racing Team is a very important project for us that has big ambitions and that is why we can only be happy with this new agreement.”
