In Misano, he was the undisputed protagonist. In Donington, he flopped. We’re talking about Michael Rinaldi on a Saturday he wants to forget, with a 12th position almost a minute from the top in Race 1.
The rider from Romagna is definitely dissatisfied and disappointed, since his ambitions were very different in the United Kingdom.
“Today was a race below my expectations,” he said. “After the Misano weekend, I expected a lot more, but today I couldn’t ride. We have to understand why we struggled so much under certain conditions.”
Doubts and questions are tormenting the Aruba rider.
“Something’s wrong, since I can’t win two races like at Misano and then finish behind like I did today. Before coming here, I was confident but, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to ride the Ducati like I wanted to. The comments are the same as in the first race in Aragon.”
